...or does the current gen Chevy Malibu look longer than the Impala?

The Impala looks blockier because there’s only so much styling trickery you can use to try and hide the fact that its windows are tiny in relation to overall size.

the impala is tall as hell. makes a ton of room but makes it stubby looking despite being very long.

... I think you’re right.

Nope
Oh, you meant the current impala, didn’t you?
Sorry not sorry

Impala is 7" longer and an inch taller.

It’s super tall and yet has ridiculously bad visibility .
(That sliver of red car is a Cruze.)

Nope, you’re not alone Unless they were parked side by side, I would think the Malibu was the larger vehicle.

Impala is over half a foot longer, and at least an inch taller (roofline), bumper more so.
However, I was looking to purchase one and the dealer mentioned the Imapals are cheaper right now. As soon as they got Malibu’s the Impala sales completely stopped. They haven’t sold one since.

I never really enjoyed driving my mom’s for that reason. Without the huge sunroof it’d likely feel a lot tighter. The Camaro felt similar

It’s definitely not longer, but the proportions do make it look longer.

This rental didn’t have a sunroof that I can recall. It felt roomy, it was just hard to see out of.

Post says Malibu and Impala, but all I see is an A4 and A6? They’re Audis right?
